Reverend Shawn Klein has been actively involved in ministry since 2014, and bolstered his theological understanding by earning his Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in 2021. Pastor Shawn has dedicated his life to the work of God, having served seven different churches, a summer camp, and Christian non-profits over the years. Since the summer of 2023, he has served as the Senior Pastor at Hernando United Methodist Church. 

  Pastor Shawn has committed his ministry to the United Methodist Church as an Elder, and is particularly concerned with the way that God reaches out to those who feel like the church has turned their backs on them. Borrowing from the wisdom of the Gospel of Luke, Pastor Shawn is working to make sure that our church is a place for everyone, no matter where they are in their faith and life journey. 

  When he's not in the pulpit or the church office, Pastor Shawn is enjoying life with his wife, Olivia, whom he married in December 2021. He's also a proud dog dad to his rescue pup, Aries. For fun, he loves to get together with friends for trading card games and tabletop roleplaying games.
